Our Story

Chicken Road Design Studio was born in 2015 from a simple question that sparked our creative journey: "Why did the design cross the road?" The answer—to connect with users on the other side—became our founding philosophy. Our founders, Sarah Chen and Michael Rodriguez, met at a game development hackathon where they discovered their complementary skills in visual design and technical development. What started as a playful joke about crossing roads in their first collaborative game project evolved into our studio's distinctive name and approach to design challenges.

In our early days, we operated from a converted garage in Brooklyn, taking on small web design projects while developing indie games on the side. Our breakthrough came in 2017 when our mobile game "Chicken Dash" went viral, propelling us into the spotlight and opening doors to larger clients seeking our unique blend of playful creativity and technical expertise. This success enabled us to expand our team and move into our current studio space in 2018.

Today, Chicken Road Design Studio is a thriving creative agency with a team of 15 dedicated professionals spanning design, development, and strategy.
